Valentine’s Day is only 7 days away! Which means the pressure is on for men to find the perfect gift for the lady in their lives. My guy has been asking for what I want as a gift. The gift I want above everything else is quality time together. I’m not sure about you but I feel like between daily duties, work and making sure our apartment is tidy each day, we’re always pressed for time together. I even told him I would be happier cooking a lovely meal together at home for Valentine’s Day instead of spending an exorbitant amount of money on a prix fixe menu at a restaurant.
When it comes to gifting, I’m a huge fan of experiential gifts instead of tangible ones. Plan a fun date, a trip to a nearby winery, tickets to a Broadway play or concert. Honestly, a trip out of town to me is far me memorable to me than things. Admittedly I still love receiving well thought out gifts.
